Experienced Welder

Our welders provide invaluable skills to our production team and take our gears to the next level.Welders are responsible for welding and fabricating heavy metal components by hand or flame-cutting equipment according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SAW (submerged arc welding) welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Reading and understanding blueprints and drawingsSetup partsWeld, cut, grind, and run production of large gearsAssembly and disassemblySelf-inspect and ensure welds meet quality standardsPerform preventative maintenance on welding equipmentLoad/unload and monitor ovenOperating overhead cranes and forkliftsQualifications Certified welders are preferred but not requiredWelding experience (Arc, Tig, Mig) requiredAbility to lift 50 pounds as required without assistanceThis position can be exposed to heat, cold, fumes or airborne particles, debris such as metal shavings, loud noise, vibration and moving mechanical parts.
