Deer-Grove Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Full Time Certified Veterinary Technicianthat wants to make a difference in the lives of animals and their pet parents. Deer-Grove Veterinary Clinic began serving the Cottage Grove, Deerfield and greater Madison, Wisconsin area more than 40 years ago. We are seeking a full-timeCertified Veterinary Technician who is team-player, detail-oriented, positive, self-starting and eager to grow and learn to join our team. The position will include occasional evening shifts (until 7pm) and every other Saturday (8am-12noon). Our team values work/life balance so we all work together to offer flexible scheduling and are closed on major holidays. Work Responsibilities include: Assisting Doctors with exams Taking complete medical history Surgical assisting, anesthesia, and dental procedures (including some orthopedics) Taking radiographs, running lab work, and filling medications Client communication and education Therapy Laser Treatments Assist Doctor with Medical Acupuncture appointments Veterinary technician license preferred.
