General Manager
Position OverviewThe General Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial, administrative, payroll, HR compliance, and corporate operations of the US entity. Reporting directly to the President of GI-Tech America Corporation, this individual will play a critical role in building scalable operational infrastructure while supporting communication and reporting to the company's headquarters in South Korea.This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to help establish and shape the long-term success of a growing international organization in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Accounting OperationsOversee all day-to-day accounting and financial operations using QuickBooks.Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for US leadership and Korea headquarters.Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and intercompany transactions.Coordinate closely with external CPA firms on audits, tax filings, technical accounting matters, and year-end reporting.Payroll, Benefits & HR AdministrationManage full-cycle payroll operations using ADP, including payroll tax filings and compliance.Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.Oversee onboarding, offboarding, personnel records, and HR policy administration.Coordinate with external HR consulting partners and benefits providers.Corporate Compliance & OperationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local business regulations and filings.Manage corporate governance records, business registrations, and regulatory reporting requirements.Coordinate with outside legal counsel on employment, contracts, immigration, and compliance matters.Support insurance, banking, vendor, and professional-service relationships.Strategic & Executive SupportServe as a key operational and financial advisor to the President of the US subsidiary.Support reporting and communication with Korea headquarters.Assist with operational planning, process improvements, and organizational scaling initiatives.Help bridge cross-cultural communication and operational alignment between US and Korean teams.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.8+ years of progressive accounting, finance, operations, or business management experience.Prior supervisory or leadership experience.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, payroll administration, and regulatory compliance.Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and ADP (or similar payroll systems).Experience working with external CPA firms, legal counsel, and professional service providers.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.PreferredCPA, CMA, or related professional certification.Korean / English bilingual capabilities strongly preferred.Experience supporting a US subsidiary of a foreign-owned company.Background in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or government contracting environments.Experience helping establish or scale a US business operation.Personal CharacteristicsHigh integrity and professionalism.Hands-on leader comfortable operating in a growing organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.Collaborative and culturally adaptable.Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing environment.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryAnnual performance bonus opportunityMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off and holidaysLong-term growth opportunity within a global organizationLocation & TravelThis role is based in Crown Point / Greater Indianapolis, Indiana.
