Mandatory Skills: Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer (with Regional Rules Insurance experience) Key Responsibilities:Design develops configure and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter components using GOSU and Guidewire StudioImplement and enhance regional state specific insurance rules including rating logic underwriting rules forms and validationsWork closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate functional and regulatory requirements into technical designsConfigure PolicyCenter Rating module components rate books rate tables rate routinesReview offshore development deliverables across PCF business rules and data model changesSupport production issues defect analysis and root cause resolutionCoordinate with integration owners and third-party systems to ensure application stabilityEstimate effort and propose configuration and integration solutions during sprint planningProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members Primary Skills (Must Have):5 to 7 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development experienceStrong experience in PolicyCenter configuration Rating and regional state rolloutsProficiency in GOSU programming Guidewire APIs rules and processesExperience in at least one end to end PolicyCenter implementationStrong understanding of multi-tier application architecturesExperience working in Agile delivery modelsExposure to production support in an onsite offshore setupExcellent troubleshooting and communication skills Secondary Skills (Good to Have):Guidewire PolicyCenter certificationJava J2EE and Web Services SOAPREST integration experienceExperience with SQL Server or DB2Familiarity with version control tools SVN or similarExperience with application servers such as WebSphere Tomcat or JBoss Required Education:Bachelor’s Degree Soft Skills:Strong communication and presentation skillsCollaborative team playerAbility to work effectively in distributed teams
