We are the leading wholesale flooring providers in the country --- we provide flooring installation services to the multi-family industry (apartments, student housing) and to the growing Single Family Rental Homes market.JOB OVERVIEW:The Inventory & Procurement Associate will facilitate order placement and freight logistics of all stocked and special-order material requests from warehouse managers and account executives. This position will also be responsible for maintaining software databases related to the procurement process and assist in all aspects of inventory management from scheduling, monitoring regular cycle counts and reconciling physical inventories.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and ensure local cycle counts are completed and match system totalsTimely communication with warehouse and account executives on order statusPurchase stocked and special-order material Logistics/freight coordination to the branches Physical inventory reconciliation Inventory file audits/consolidation Facilitate branch-to-branch transfers Daily Maintenance of the B2B/eCommerce Module and product file Follow up on mill claims and process mill creditsPreform other duties assigned by management QualificationsThe Inventory & Procurement Associate role should possess the following qualifications:Previous inventory control and inventory management experience. Strong organization and time management skills. Adaptability and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory and procurement. Ability to work collaboratively within the procurement team and cross-functionally with other departments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with internal stakeholders. General computer and software skills (Gmail, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Data analysis and compilation skills are a plus. RFMS experience.
