In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across multiple progressive care units, supporting a wide range of patient populations and clinical needs. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)Deliver patient-centered care for individuals with complex medical conditionsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of careEducate patients and families based on individual needs and readiness to learnMonitor, document, and communicate patient progress and outcomesUtilize hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in all aspects of careSupport safe, efficient, and cost-effective care deliveryFloat Pool DetailsFloat across multiple PCU/Stepdown units, including:Surgical, Neuro, Medicine, Cardiac, Cardiovascular, and Burn CenterTypical patient ratios:PCU: 1:3 (up to 1:4)Acute care (as needed): up to 1:5Required QualificationsActive RN license in North CarolinaBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)Minimum 2 year of nursing experienceNursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited programPreferred QualificationsBSN or MSNExperience in Progressive Care / Stepdown unitsAdditional RequirementsCertifications: ACLS and NIHSS requiredSchedule includes:Every other weekend (EOW)Every other holiday (EOH)No on-call requirementAbout LanceSoftEstablished in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
