Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications: Ability to read and write English. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Proven leadership abilities. Minimum 6 months warehouse experience. Proficiency in Office Word, Excel Forklift certified Pervious computer experience on an inventory/purchasing system preferred. Must possess the ability to negotiate effectively with delivery drivers and suppliers. Must be able to speak clearly and possess excellent phone etiquette. Must possess excellent customer service, team building (lateral support, report) organization, leadership and communication skills. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for overall safety, monthly inventories, unloading trucks, receiving goods, system receiving goods, recycling glass, cardboard and paper. Fills requisitions in a timely and accurate manner. Operates and maintains consistent mail delivery, organization and tidiness of warehouse. Responsible for safety and cleanliness of all warehouse areas as per internal and Health Department standards. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company procedures. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures. Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed. Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands: Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift, stoop, reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions.
