Mortgage ProcessorThe Processor is responsible for verifying and completing financial information in mortgage applications to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Compiles and reviews financial information and documents for mortgage applications and confirms compliance with underwriting guidelines. Reviews financial information and documents for accuracy and completeness and calculates income and reviews assets and liabilities to ensure compliance with guidelines. Provides mortgage application information requirements to the necessary parties. Maintains a pipeline of loan files in various stages of processing as designated by management and ensures customer service standards are met. Maintains and updates loan application information within the LOS system. Prepares and issues forms required for regulatory compliance. Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
