Senior Fire Engineer - North of England

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DoEWe're looking for a senior fire engineer to join our Manchester team. A critical technical part of the business, delivering client projects, providing advice and technical support. You will oversee and develop the technical capability of the company, contributing to the consulting output and assisting with the overall development of the business.Main DutiesDelivery of fire safety design projects, from concept to completion, including the application of non-standard fire engineered analysisDeliver client projects, provide technical support and help nurture the teamOversee and develop the technical capability of the team, contributing to the consulting output and assisting with the overall development of the regionHelp nurture junior members of the team, being a key part of their developmentOutward-facing role working directly with clients to fulfil their needsAttend client meetings and provide fee proposals as requiredResponsible for the promotion of quality throughout the companyProvide technical guidance and provide advice for clients as appropriateProvide technical advice to employees and associates of the companyEngage with marketing initiatives and attend promotional eventsKey Skills & RequirementsTypically, 3-5 years' experience in a consultancy or similar environmentExtensive knowledge and experience of UK fire safety legislation and standardsExtensive experience delivering fire engineered solutions for UK-based projectsClear understanding of the total fire concept - from client brief through to construction and operationDevelopment and implementation of fire strategies, projects and research initiativesAbility to work under pressure and deliver maximum resultsPossess excellent report writing and communication skills - be collaborative, creative and engagingAbility to multi-task - you will be required to work on multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple demandsProven ability to develop a network of clients and colleagues at PartB and outside the companyUnderstand and manage the scope and relevant programme constraints of projectsRewardsWe'll Reward Your Hard Work With Brilliant Benefits, IncludingCompetitive salary9-Day Fortnight, with every second Friday OFF (following successful completion of 6-month probation)Generous holidays: 27 days + bank holidays + period between Christmas and new yearPrivate healthcareFlexible workingCompany credit cardConfidential mental health support for you and your family, should you ever need itElectric car scheme (and many more)About UsPartB is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
