Requirements for Residency and CitizenshipCandidate must currently reside in the Irving, TX greater areaCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen or currently hold a Green CardRole OverviewThe Scrum Master Lead is a senior Agile delivery leader responsible for enabling high-performing Scrum teams while driving Agile maturity across programs, departments, or portfolios. This role goes beyond a single team, focusing on organizational impediment removal, Agile coaching, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement at scale. The Scrum Master Lead acts as a servant leader, coach, and trusted advisor to delivery teams and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Lead Scrum Master across multiple Agile teams or a complex programFacilitate and oversee Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) while ensuring consistency and qualityCoach Scrum Masters and delivery teams on Agile principles, self-organization, and continuous improvementEnsure Scrum and Agile frameworks are understood, adopted, and effectively executedProgram & Organizational EnablementIdentify and remove cross-team, program-level, and organizational impedimentsPartner with Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads to improve value flow and predictabilitySupport Agile delivery in hybrid environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Waterfall as applicable)Drive alignment across dependent teams and shared servicesCoaching & LeadershipAct as an Agile coach for teams, Scrum Masters, and leadersGuide leadership in fostering an environment that supports fast value delivery, quality, and customer focusMentor junior and mid-level Scrum Masters and contribute to Scrum Master communities of practiceLead by example in adopting an Agile mindset and behaviorsDefine and monitor Agile metrics (velocity, flow, predictability, team health)Use data and information radiators to drive transparency and informed decision-makingFacilitate retrospectives at team and program levels to ensure actionable improvementsProactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery healthRequired QualificationsExperience in Agile delivery, including senior or lead Scrum Master rolesStrong expertise in Scrum and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)Proven ability to coach teams and influence senior stakeholdersStrong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsScrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)Equal Opportunity EmployerCapgemini is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
