Area Sales Manager Industrial Equipment
Multi-State Territory | High Growth | Hunter Role
We’re looking for a driven Area Sales Manager with a true hunter mentality to take ownership of a large, high-potential territory covering Michigan , Ohio and Kentucky .
This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the road, opening doors, building long-term relationships, and growing a territory aggressively while still inheriting an established customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of ~150 customers
Proactively hunt and win new business across your territory
Spend significant time in the field meeting customers face-to-face
Sell industrial equipment, including blowers, vacuum systems, air knives, and drying solutions
Work closely with Marketing on inbound leads and campaigns
Use CRM (Salesforce) to plan, track, and forecast activity
Build long-term customer relationships through regular plant visits
What We’re Looking For
Hunter mentality with strong relationship-building skills
Experience in industrial sales, rotating equipment, pumps, blowers, or machinery (preferred)
Comfortable with heavy travel and territory planning
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Open to candidates with limited experience but strong drive and coachability
Physically able to handle plant environments
Compensation & Rewards
Average Monthly Commission: ~$5,500
Annual Bonus: Up to $20,000
OTE: ~$190,000 - $200,000+
