SOLAR SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Employee or Subcontractor – Florida) JOB SUMMARY We are seeking experienced Solar Service Technicians or qualified subcontractors to remediate, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar systems that were left incomplete or improperly installed by prior installers. Most systems utilize Qcells modules and Enphase microinverters and monitoring. This is a field-based role and requires reliable personal transportation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical issues on residential solar PV systems Perform corrective maintenance and remediation of incomplete or failed installations Commission systems and verify production and safe operation Configure and validate Enphase monitoring and production/consumption CTs Replace failed components and support RMA swaps as needed Document work performed including photos, notes, and serial numbers Follow all electrical, jobsite, and safety protocols REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in solar service, O&M, or electrical troubleshooting Hands-on experience with Enphase systems (microinverters, monitoring, CTs) Ability to safely test and troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and outdoors in Florida conditions Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 50 lbs Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (required) LICENSING & COMPLIANCE Subcontractors must hold appropriate Florida licensing for the scope of work performed or operate in compliance with company permitting requirements Familiarity with local AHJ and inspection requirements preferred OSHA 10 and/or NFPA 70E certification strongly preferred COMPENSATION & REIMBURSEMENT Competitive pay (W-2 employee or 1099 subcontractor, based on experience) Mileage reimbursement provided Materials reimbursement provided (pre-approved) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Solar remediation or abandoned/failed installation repair Battery and backup system experience (Enphase or similar) Final inspection and PTO readiness work Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement Professional development assistance Application Question(s): What year, make, and model vehicle do you have?
