The role includes providing repair guidance, maintaining compliance databases, and collaborating with teams to ensure safe and cost-effective network operations.Primary Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsInspect outside plant (OSP) infrastructure based on scheduled timelinesApply company, state, and NESC standards and regulationsIdentify high-risk geographic areas and contributing factorsAssign and classify infractions based on severityEnter and maintain accurate compliance data in database systemsReview make-ready work and coordinate with contractorsIssue work assignments to construction contractors and locate vendorsCoordinate service drop conversions to resolve clearance violationsAssist in material ordering and forecastingPerform inspections and quality control (QC) on contractor workComplete as-built mapping documentationSupport locating and QC of telecommunications facilitiesMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceAt least 1 year of experience in a related field (e.g., OSP Construction, Field Operations) preferredValid driver's license meeting company standardsAbility to walk on uneven terrain and stand for extended periodsAbility to read and interpret telecommunications utility mapsBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and relevant software)Preferred Qualifications2–3 years of experience with aerial and underground telecom constructionBasic knowledge of HFC/fiber designUnderstanding of construction standards and applicable codesFamiliarity with telecommunications construction practicesKnowledge of NESC and local utility regulationsJ-18808-Ljbffr
