Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, high-energy Host to join our team for our afternoon and evening shifts. As the first point of contact for our guests, you are the "face" of the venue. Your primary goal is to provide a warm welcome while efficiently managing guest entry, verifying identification, and processing cover charges. Key Responsibilities Guest Greeting: Provide a professional and friendly welcome to every guest as they arrive. ID Verification: Carefully scan and verify government-issued identification to ensure all guests meet age requirements and entry policies. Cover Management: Collect and process cover charges (cash or card) accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system. Capacity Monitoring: Track guest entry and exit to assist management in maintaining safe occupancy levels. Information Hub: Answer basic guest questions regarding set times, drink specials, or venue layout. Safety Coordination: Work closely with our security team to ensure a smooth and safe entry process for all patrons. Required Skills & Qualifications The "Vibe": Outgoing, professional, and able to stay calm under pressure during busy "rush" periods. Trustworthiness: Experience handling cash and processing digital payments with a high level of integrity. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot fraudulent IDs and maintain strict adherence to legal requirements. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills; you must be comfortable being firm yet polite when enforcing entry policies. Availability: Must be able to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours). Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (often with loud music or low lighting).
