Senior E-Discovery Analyst

Position: Senior Litigation and E-Discovery Services AnalystLocations: Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Diego, Santa Monica (CA) or Seattle (WA)Compensation: $110,000 – $153,000Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remoteA highly respected international law firm with a strong reputation in technology, life sciences, and complex litigation is seeking a Senior Litigation and E-Discovery Services Analyst to join its Litigation Technology team.This role supports attorneys and litigation teams across the firm by managing litigation technology platforms, administering review databases, and coordinating electronic discovery workflows from case inception through trial. The position sits within a centralized litigation support and e-discovery services group responsible for delivering scalable technology solutions to support high-stakes litigation matters. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in designing and managing litigation databases, supporting document review and production workflows, advising attorneys on litigation technology tools, and partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient management of case data.Key responsibilities include supporting attorneys and litigation teams through all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, review, production, and trial preparation. The role designs and maintains litigation databases used for document review and analysis while coordinating requests for new or modified databases across multiple litigation applications including Relativity/RelOne, CSDisco, Concordance, and LAW Pre-Discovery.The position also provides technical guidance on litigation technology and electronic discovery workflows, works closely with legal teams to develop search strategies and execute keyword searches, and helps establish document review protocols including testing, sampling, and production preparation.Additional responsibilities include conducting quality control on document productions to ensure accuracy of privilege designations, confidentiality markings, and redactions. The analyst maintains documentation of litigation data workflows from initial receipt through matter completion, develops user documentation and training materials, and assists with administration of internal workflow tracking systems.This role also partners with e-discovery vendors and internal technology teams, troubleshoots issues across litigation systems and processes, and provides training to legal teams on the use of litigation support tools and search syntax within review platforms.Candidates will be expected to maintain knowledge of emerging litigation technology and e-discovery trends while supporting firm-wide data management standards and internal policies. The position also includes billable responsibilities and requires accurate time entry and coordination with internal billing systems.Successful candidates typically bring a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of experience supporting litigation technology and electronic discovery in a law firm or litigation vendor environment. Strong experience administering review database platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, LAW Pre-Discovery, or similar systems is essential.Technical familiarity with relational databases, SQL or ODBC connections, and enterprise information management tools is highly valued. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong understanding of litigation support technologies, document review workflows, and electronic discovery processes.
