We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Supervisor for the venue is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the facility runs smoothly, and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, maintaining equipment, and addressing any issues that arise.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staffSupervise and coordinate daily operations of the venue, including maintenance, scheduling, and facility managementAssist in managing inventory of arena supplies, including maintenance materials, food & beverage items, and equipmentBe responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolveEnforce facility policies and proceduresHave general knowledge regarding program options and facility eventsAssist other departments as necessaryEnsure correct equipment is available for all gamesRespond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations as neededComplete and file corresponding paperwork as necessaryAssist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipmentAssigning duties to staff during shiftsInspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to managementEnsure health and safety standards are followedResponsible for opening and closing of facilitiesCommunicate to Operations Manager and General Manager on event set and breakdownComplete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from preschool through adultProven experience in facility management, preferably in an ice arena or similar environmentFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow team membersMust work well with othersCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersMust possess a valid drivers licenseWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highWork is performed in a venue environment, which includes cold temperatures and varying noise levelsWill be required to stand for extended periods of timeWill be required to work indoors and outdoors year-roundMust be able to work independently in a busy environmentMust comply with safety and health code standardsFacility has intermittent noise
