Consultant Dietetic Technician - Hybrid

NutriTech is looking for a Dietetic Technician to join our growing team. We have an opening at a LTC facility in New Fane, New York. LTC experience is preferred but willing to train. Pay is VERY competitive! Responsibilities Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents Coordinate care with the Registered Dietitian to provide exceptional nutritional services! Complete nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team. Quarterly reviews. Data entry Implement dietary care plans Survey assistance Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns Skills and Qualifications Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families Must be Registered with CDR Long Term Care Experience preferred with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS, Completing resident/ patient assessments and Care Plans Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines Job Type: Part-time Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Medical Specialty: Dietetics Geriatrics Schedule: Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Do you have experience using PointClickCare Software?
