Pediatrics - Northern Michigan The practice offers two Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, 1:1 MA s, and an outstanding support team. The Pediatric practice offers evidence-based and age-appropriate care to infants, children, and adolescents. No inpatient pediatric care is provided at the hospital, but their providers participate in shared newborn nursery call along with family medicine providers. The team is supported by the neonatal and pediatric providers nearby for inpatient care, and Neonatologists and Pediatricians are available for consultation 24/7. Transport of sick newborns and children are coordinated through a centralized transfer center.
