Our rich diversity of people and ideas makes us a stronger, more innovative organization.Position Summary:Henkels & McCoy West is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex power delivery infrastructure projects across the western U.S. This role will support the execution of overhead transmission, above-ground substations, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects within rapidly growing utility and renewable energy markets.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, utility construction expertise, and a proven ability to safely deliver large-scale projects on schedule and within budget while managing client relationships, field operations, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.What You’ll DoLead all phases of project execution for overhead transmission, substation, and BESS infrastructure projectsManage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, forecasting, and risk mitigationOversee field operations, subcontractors, engineering coordination, procurement, and commissioning supportServe as the primary client-facing leader and key stakeholder contactDrive safety, operational excellence, and compliance with Henkels & McCoy project management standardsSupport utility-scale renewable energy integration and grid modernization initiativesMentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers while fostering a high-performance team cultureDeliver detailed project reporting, financial analysis, and executive-level updatesPreferred Experience8+ years of progressive project management experience in utility construction, power delivery, transmission, substations, or renewable energy infrastructureBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferredDirect experience with:Overhead transmission line constructionAbove-ground substation infrastructureBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)EPC and utility capital projectsStrong background in contract management, scheduling, forecasting, and project controlsExperience managing self-perform and subcontracted construction activitiesProficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteSalary Range: $120,000/yr to $180,000/yr (will be dependent upon level of experience)Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible to participate in our benefit plan which includes the following:401(k) PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanHealth, Dental, & Vision InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceVoluntary Short Term & Long-Term DisabilityPaid time offHenkels & McCoy West, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.
