The role will develop and execute required actuarial pricing, reserving, or data analytics functions. The employee will work closely with the risk, underwriting, claims, finance, operations teams to assist with overall business strategy.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesEvaluates performance and pricing of insurance and reinsurance programs and analyzes their financial impact in coordination with catastrophe risk modeling teamsDrives reserving process including initial expected loss ratios, loss development factors, and required Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reservesEstablishes reserve practices for quarterly performance updates and supports preparation of internal and statutory financial reportsExecutes data analytics support for pricing, reserving, and modeling needs across risk and actuarial functionsBuilds complex specialty models with underwriting and claims teams to assess risk exposures and develop pricing strategiesPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's DegreeExperience: 10+ yearsLeadership Experience: 4+ yearsPreferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeExperience: 15+ yearsNextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
