Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team in a 100% remote role supporting enterprise Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Oracle technologies, enterprise infrastructure, application administration, and production support. This individual will play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and support enterprise COTS applications.
Monitor application health, performance, and availability while proactively resolving issues.
Perform application patching, software upgrades, dependency management, and performance tuning.
Support application deployments, release management, and configuration management across development, testing, and production environments.
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, and performance issues while minimizing operational impact.
Monitor, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities, security findings, and technical debt within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Support Oracle Database environments, including database connectivity and application-related database troubleshooting.
Administer and support Unix/Solaris and Windows Server environments.
Support Apache Web Server administration and configuration.
Utilize enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds to monitor application health and performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, dashboards, and knowledge articles.
Gather technical artifacts to support audits, compliance initiatives, and cybersecurity reviews.
Collaborate with project managers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity personnel, system stewards, and business stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
Document requirements, defects, and enhancements in Jira while supporting successful project delivery.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Eight (8) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required degree.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience supporting enterprise applications, software development, or systems administration.
