POSITION: Safety CoordinatorOPENINGS: 1Duration: PermLocation: Dulles, VAWorking Schedule: Monday - FridayPAY: $80k - 95k - can flex up to $105k for more senior folksINTERVIEW PROCESS: Phone screen with TA, Panel teams in with team, Site visitSTART DATE: 6/1JOB DESCRIPTIONOur client is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure the team meets all safety requirements. This position will be in the field and on site at a Data Center in Dulles, Virginia to help manage and coordinate all division safety activitiesTours and inspects small, mid-size or large, complex job sites to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.Reports concerns to safety management. Ensures Enforcement of OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Documents safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures.Provides recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues. Ensures cited issues are corrected within designated timeframe.Maintains all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logs.Develops current and future loss control strategies and implements corrective actions to prevent similar incidents. – Provides emergency response to employees as needed.Participates in and documents information for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submits data to regulatory agencies as required.Contributes to updating training materials and manages employee training as necessary.Acting as a lead, guides less-experience safety roles as needed.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 3+ years of experience working as a safety professional in a construction environmentBachelor's degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences is required or related field strong plusMust be able to pass BC/ DTNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCECHST or other related safety certificationsCPR and First Aid CertificationsOSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hr
