The Benefits Advisor is highly visible, regularly engaging employees across all locations and shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Guidance & Support (Primary Focus)Serve as the primary resource for employee benefits questions, with a focus on healthcare navigationProvide one-on-one guidance to help employees make informed benefits decisionsAssist employees in understanding claims, billing issues, and coverage detailsTake ownership of employee issues and follow through to resolutionProactive Employee EngagementRegularly connect with employees across all plants and shifts—not just during open enrollmentIdentify patterns of confusion or concern and address them proactivelyBuild trust through consistent visibility and accessibilityPartner with HR Business Partners and leaders to support employee needsBenefits Education & CommunicationDevelop and deliver clear, simple, and practical benefits educationLead new hire benefits orientation focused on understanding, not just enrollmentCreate tools, guides, and communications that simplify complex benefits informationImprove how benefits are communicated throughout the yearAdministration BenefitsSupport enrollment, eligibility, and benefits changes accurately and timelyWork with brokers and vendors on plan administration and renewalsAssist with benefits billing issues and discrepanciesMaintain accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulationsData & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze claims data, employee feedback, and utilization trendsIdentify opportunities to improve employee understanding and experienceRecommend enhancements to plans, communication, or processesSupport efforts to improve utilization and reduce avoidable costsWellness & EngagementLead wellness initiatives aligned with employee needsSupport broader employee engagement efforts in partnership with HR teamSuccess ProfileThis role is successful when:Employees understand their benefits and feel confident in their decisionsEmployees feel supported and have a positive experience when navigating benefitsQuestions and issues are addressed proactively—not just reactivelyBenefits are viewed as a valuable part of working at Morton IndustriesEmployees make informed healthcare decisions that reduce confusion and unnecessary costCore CompetenciesCommunication & Teaching AbilityEmpathy & Employee FocusProactivity & InitiativeProblem SolvingOrganization & ExecutionAnalytical ThinkingMorton Industries, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerQualifications3+ years of experience in benefits, HR, insurance, or related fieldStrong ability to explain complex information in simple, practical termsDemonstrated ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levelsHigh level of initiative and proactive problem-solvingAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret data and trendsProficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
