Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level systems administrator who shall be responsible for providing network management and systems administration support to maintain the Agency's High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure and HPC development environment. The Systems Administrator shall require SYS1 access and must have the Security+ certification.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.A Security+ Certification is requiredRequired Skills:Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux ToolsExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environmentExperience with Network Appliance clustered servers and applicable software with direct attached FC San storageExperience using Red Hat Satellite to automate the deployment, provisioning, and patching of REL Linux systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environmentsExperience with hands-on troubleshooting, customer interfacing, issue resolution, discrepancy tracking, and report generationFamiliar with software frameworks used for searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data such as Splunk and Elastic StackExperience with Linux configuration regarding Storage, Networking, Load Balancing, Memory Management, VMs, Firewalls, and System MonitoringExperience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies, procedures, and toolsExperience with corporate SSP accreditation processesExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStackExperience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environmentsDesired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and ConfluenceExperience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and NagiosExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience with sanitization of hardware, firmware, and / or software removed from computing environment in accordance with USG policies and proceduresExperience with NetBackup and/or tape backup systems and archivingExperience with ePolicy Orchestrator and McAfeeThis position is open for direct hires only.
