Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, accurate inventory, and smooth order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and equipment such as forklifts . This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document deliveries Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately using order pickers, pallet jacks, and packaging materials. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely to load and unload trucks and move stock within the warehouse. Ensure proper storage of products in designated warehouse locations, adhering to safety standards. Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing shipments for timely dispatch. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall productivity. Requirements Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking, packing, and inventory control. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including load & unload procedures. Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
