Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Des Moines, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,235 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 36 months of respiratory care experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required. License: Iowa license preferred; licensing candidates accepted with a 1-3 week turnaround time. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, both required. Must-Have: - All certifications must be active and in hand. - EPIC electronic medical records experience is required. - Work history, resume, and employment history must reflect 24 months of current RRT/CRT respiratory therapy experience. Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. May be required to float across various campuses. Candidates will be cross-trained on general pediatric floor to assist when needed. Equipment experience in High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, Jet, and Servo U is highly preferred. Preference given to experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within the last 24 months is preferred. Document showing Driver's License is required.
