Registered Behavior Technician
*Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Two Part-Time Positions Available*
We are seeking *two compassionate, reliable, and energetic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)* to support a teenager with a Autism in his home and community. The ideal candidate is patient, enjoys community activities, and is comfortable providing personal care while promoting independence and dignity.
*Position #1 – Evening at Home & Weekend Community Support*
*Schedule*
* *Monday–Wednesday:* 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* *Saturday & Sunday:* 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM
*Responsibilities*
* Assist with dinner and feeding as needed
* Support evening hygiene routine, including toileting assistance and personal hygiene
* Assist with getting ready for bed
* Provide behavior support and positive reinforcement
* Support community outings such as restaurants, parks, shopping, music, and recreational activities
* Help build social skills, independence, and community participation
* Collect ABA data as directed by the BCBA
*Position #2 – Evening & Weekend Home Support*
*Schedule*
* *Thursday & Friday:* 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* *Saturday & Sunday:* 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
*Responsibilities*
* Assist with dinner and feeding as needed
* Support evening hygiene routine, including toileting assistance and personal hygiene
* Assist with getting ready for bed
* Implement behavior intervention strategies
* Promote independence during daily routines
* Collect ABA data as directed by the BCBA
*Qualifications*
* Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
* Experience working with autistic adolescents or adults preferred
* Calm, patient, and dependable
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable working in home and community settings
* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
*Personal Care Requirements*
This position includes providing personal care. Applicants *must be comfortable assisting with:*
* Feeding during dinner
* Toileting support
* Personal hygiene, including assistance with cleaning after toileting when needed
* Occasional physical prompting during hygiene routines
* Assisting with dressing and bedtime preparation
All personal care is provided respectfully while encouraging as much independence as possible and maintaining the participant's dignity and privacy.
