Procurement Specialist

Key ResponsibilitiesNegotiate and manage procurement of capital equipment and services.Utilize PeopleSoft Financials and related automation tools for purchasing activities.Analyze spend data using Google tools across suppliers and categories.Source and negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers for core products.Build and maintain relationships with supplier representatives to stay informed on new products and services.Identify and communicate cost-saving opportunities across teams.Review Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts to maximize savings.Collaborate with departments to develop and implement cost-reduction strategies.Prepare and present savings analyses; negotiate contracts through GPOs or direct suppliers.Track and report savings initiatives on a regular basis.Assist in equipment specification for construction and expansion projects.Coordinate with planners, consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders on large-scale projects.Maintain equipment tracking systems and ensure timely ordering.Develop RFPs, bid summaries, and vendor performance evaluations.Source domestic and international suppliers to meet supply chain objectives.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.Adaptability to shifting workloads and priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.Willingness and ability to travel within the network as needed.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree required (Business or related field preferred).Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification required at hire or within 12 months.Benefits:Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
