Psychiatrist, Inpatient

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join a 144-bed behavioral health hospital in Chattanooga, TN, providing inpatient and outpatient care for adolescents and adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.Responsible for diagnosing and treating mental illnesses through counseling, psychotherapy, hospitalization, and medication.Provide clinical services, review patient information, and ensure medical stability while adhering to federal, state, and facility protocols.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.Utilize various psychotherapeutic methods and medications, maintain confidential documentation, and ensure compliance with policies.Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO), licensure in the state, board certification in psychiatry, and current DEA credentials.
