Critical Care Nurse in Medina, OH

A registered nurse with critical care experience is needed for a contract position working in an inpatient setting including ICU, stepdown, and med/surg units. This role requires the ability to float between various inpatient areas, providing high-quality nursing care to critically and medically ill patients.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in ICU, stepdown, and med/surg unitsManage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansFloat between units as needed to cover staffing shortages and support patient needsParticipate in weekend and holiday rotations on a night shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCritical care nursing (ICU) experience highly preferredAbility to adapt to floating assignments across multiple inpatient areasStrong clinical assessment and patient management skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesLocation Details: Medina, Ohio offers a welcoming community with a blend of small-town charm and access to metropolitan amenities.
