About the job: Akkodis is seeking aWebcasting & Virtual Events Engineerfor a contract role. Pay Range:$37/hr. – $53/hr. on W2 (The pay rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Webcasting & Virtual Events Engineer responsibilities include: Configure and manageMicrosoft Teams and Zoom live events, webinars, and town halls Design and set upAV infrastructureincluding cameras, microphones, switchers, and encoding systems Execute live events includingmulti-speaker coordination and real-time troubleshooting Optimizenetwork performance (bandwidth, latency, QoS)for high-quality streaming Conduct rehearsals and ensurebackup/failover readiness Collaborate with stakeholders for seamless event delivery Required Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience withTeams and Zoom live events/webinars Strong knowledge ofaudio/video systems and live streaming Experience withOBS, vMix, or hardware switchers Understanding ofnetworking fundamentals (latency, bandwidth, QoS) Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience supportinglarge/global virtual events Familiarity withenterprise IT environments If you are interested in this role, then please clickAPPLY NOW .
