Join a team that invests in YOU - your health, future & your success!This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.Key Responsibilities:Clerical Duties:Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.Maintain and update patient records, charts, and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.Answer and direct phone calls, relay messages, and assist visitors.Coordinate with various departments to facilitate patient care and unit operations.Prepare and process forms, reports, and correspondence as required.Order and manage inventory of office supplies and medical equipment.Patient Care Duties:Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.Assist with patient mobility, including turning, positioning, and transporting patients.Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA; clerical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.Skills:Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
