Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.Build scalable and reliable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct root-cause analysis.Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and the complete SDLC.Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.Research and recommend new technologies to improve engineering processes and products.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of professional software engineering experience.Required SkillsStrong programming experience with one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns.Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability.Knowledge of cloud security and scalable system architecture.Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and modern developer tools.
