Laborer

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and hard working Laborer to join our fabrication team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all shop operations. This will include our Fabrication Shop, Machine Shop, Paint, Warehousing, and Shipping Departments.We have a fantastic crew of men and women employed currently, and are hoping to add to it!DutiesOperate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments efficiently and safelyPreparing projects for fabrication and paint in a timely mannerSupport shipping and receiving operations by preparing ordersHandle materials with care during fabrication projectsUtilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance on tools like forklifts or cranesSupport all departments by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols at all timesExpectation to support our Mobile Maintenance team in the fieldRequirementsExperience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickersMechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshooting on shop machineryStrong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walkingUnderstanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and equipment operationPrevious experience in welding or fabrication environments is a major plusExcellent team work skills and problem solving abilityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracyMSHA Certification (previous or current) is not required but would be very beneficial.Find an application on our website www.mswfab.com today!
