DescriptionRevolution Workshop is a social enterprise that provides carpentry and woodworkingworkforce development for unemployed or underemployed people in partnership with area businesses.We deliver financial independence and careers through skills, hope, and resilience.Direct Reports This position reports directly to the Director of ProgramsRoles And Responsibilities Manage recruitment, case management, behavioral change, and barrier removal elements ofconstruction pre-apprenticeship training program and special initiatives Supervise 2-4 staff, overseeing daily operations of frontline coaches at both Chicago traininglocations Train all coaches and align program on trauma-informed care approaches, strengths-basedcoaching, and trainee-led decision making Ensures that programming aligns with Trainee Handbook, particularly managing theaccountability process for all trainees Develops and manages soft skills curricula and mental health resources / referrals acrossorganization Manage partnerships with local non-profits for program recruitment, case managementreferrals, and programmatic partnerships Collect and align feedback from construction industry partners, community partners, trainees,alumni, and staff to continue to improve program experience and outcomes Analyze data related to Pre-apprenticeship program outcomes Properly align all program aspects to fulfill government/grant standards Assist reporting to government grantors Coordinate continuing education for program staff Develop tools to manage and communicate progress in delivery of program servicesNondiscrimination It is the continuing policy of Revolution Workshop to take affirmative action to assure equalopportunity for all current and prospective employees without regard to race, color, nationalorigin, ancestry, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, personalappearance, marital status, familial status, family responsibility, pregnancy or other pregnancyrelatedconditions, childbirth, disability, military/veteran status, citizenship status, religion orpolitical affiliation, past convictions or incarceration, prior psychiatric treatment, or any otherstatus protected by federal, state or local law. While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in thework environment is usually moderate.BenefitsUnlimited PTOEmployee Assistance ProgramProfessional development opportunitiesICHRA medical reimbursement403bTravel reimbursementSalary$60,000 - $63,000 USDRequirementsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred Master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field preferred At least three years’ experience working with diverse groups At least 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred Workforce development and WIOA experience preferred Knowledge and experience working with underserved individuals through approaches thatemphasize resiliency, strength based coaching, and trauma informed care. Have an understanding of the social service resources available to underserved individualsthroughout Chicago and the surrounding area. Excellent computer skills – Google G Suit (google docs, sheets, forms, Gmail etc.), MicrosoftOffice, excel, ability to learn new systems and databases Strong organizational and multitasking skills Detail-oriented Takes initiative, able to anticipate program needs Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills Recognize and respond to emerging priorities, allow for flexibility in your scheduleThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed byemployees within the classification.
