This role combines hands-on clinical duties with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth front and back office functions while maintaining exceptional patient care and customer service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.Supervise clinic operations including staff training, scheduling, and monitoring attendance to meet operational and budget goals.Ensure all procedures and tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, focusing on patient flow and customer satisfaction.Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.Collect vital signs, patient histories, specimens, and perform basic lab tests as directed by physicians.Coordinate patient care and document medical records accurately and promptly.Assist with office procedures such as equipment sterilization, medication administration, and inventory management.Support physicians during examinations and treatments, including administering injections and wound care.Operate diagnostic equipment like EKG machines as needed.Explain treatment plans, medications, and physician instructions to patients.Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with medical facilities for tests or admissions.Manage patient financial information, including co-payments and insurance data, ensuring accurate documentation and reimbursement.Handle telephone inquiries professionally and document communications per policy.Promote continuous quality improvement within the department.Adhere strictly to all medical practice policies and procedures.QualificationsAt least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare setting.Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold a team accountable.Proficiency with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office suite.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse populations.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and electronic health records.Ability to manage workflow effectively using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.Composure under pressure in fast-paced environments.EducationHigh School diploma or GED required.CertificationCurrent Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire.All candidates must successfully pass a physical evaluation, drug screening, and background check prior to employment.
