Overview
In this role you will lead the global IT network team to design, implement, and standardize enterprise network and security architectures. You will drive advanced evaluations, PoCs, and security solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to support mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale projects. You’ll mentor junior engineers, own high‑level designs, and ensure compliant, resilient network operations across a global landscape. This is a chance to shape Zebra’s infrastructure and enhance security and performance at scale.

ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and plan enterprise network and security architectureEvaluate new technologies and conduct PoC testingDevelop installation requirements for LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and related devicesLead network assessments and standardization efforts for M&A integrationsDesign and implement Disaster Recovery and Cyber Recovery infrastructureMaintain change control and validate security changes at Level 3Provide strategic consulting to business stakeholders as SMELead on-call escalation and complex incident resolutionProduce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), SOPs, and knowledge base articlesIndependently manage project delivery and timelines for upgradesMentor junior staff and drive shift-left initiatives
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level network engineering, security, and infrastructure architectureExperience operating in a large, global IT environmentDeep familiarity with Zscaler ecosystem (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZTB)Hands-on data center automation with Cisco Nexus DashboardProficiency with HPE Mist Wireless, Cisco Meraki, and Cisco Enterprise WirelessExtensive experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and PCNSE/PCNSA certificationwillingness to travel up to 10%Leadership and mentoringGlobal and customer-centric mindsetAnalytical problem solvingMaster-level networking knowledge (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP)WAN & cloud networking design (intra/inter-cloud routing)Zero-trust security concepts and cryptography
