We think outside the Box ...and Print beyond!Oliver Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail- oriented Quality Assurance Manager in Chesterfield, VA who will oversee our quality assurance program per SQF Level 2, Edition 9 certification and provide guidance in inspection and test techniques per folding carton standards according to customers specifications. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage QA personnel, work with a cross-functional team of managers, supervisors and line workers collaborating to identify areas of inefficiency and promote continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the quality of all outgoing materials and products as well as production procedures. The QA Manager will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.If perfection is not enough for you and you tend to excel, we would like to meet you!About The RoleIn this opportunity as a Quality Assurance Manager, you will:Manage, develop, motivate, and lead QA Personnel.Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.Ensure that products adhere to quality standards.Train and manage staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.Monitor production and quality processes and troubleshoot any errors.Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data and generate reports as needed.Maintains all company SQF administrative requirements, performs periodic quality inspections.About YouYou're a fit for the role of Quality Assurance Manager if your background includes:3+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance in the paperboard packaging industry preferred.Understanding of SQF, 5S, G7 industry specifications.Knowledge of safety programs, occupational safety, and health administration requirements and Code of Federal, State, and Local Regulations.Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.Team Player with ability to multi-task with deadlines while still meeting standards.Ability to lead cross functional teams and influence decisions based on facts and critical thinking.Demonstrate high ethical standards with fellow employees, customers, and the public.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
