This role combines technical analysis, spectrum coordination, and system planning to ensure successful integration and operation of space communications networks. Core responsibilities include:Perform analyses to assess compatibility amongst radio frequency (RF) systemsDevelop slide decks and/or memoranda to summary interference analysis findings, including recommended options to mitigate instances of excessive interferenceSupport development and integration of interference modeling and data analysis capabilitiesSupport continued maintenance of spectrum requirements and orbital characteristics data for space systems to be used in interference analysesQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.Experience: 0-5 years in a relevant industry or projects [applicable internships and undergraduate/graduate coursework will be considered]Work Authorization: Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.Role / Work ScheduleThis is a full-time, on-site position in Greenbelt, MD.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with radio frequency (RF) and/or optical communications theoryKnowledgeable in satellite orbital dynamicsFamiliarity in RF interference assessments involving space and/or terrestrial platformsFamiliarity with coding and scripting for engineering analyses using languages such as MATLAB, Python, and C#Proficiency in verbal and written communicationPLEASE APPLY USING OUR WEBSITE HERE: https://www.teltrium.com/job/25-601-satellite-communications-engineer-junior/
