Engineering Processes Engineer, 100% Remote/Work From HomeMust have prior work experience in the nuclear industryC2C not possibleVisa and other employment sponsorship not possibleOur client is seeking to contract with a highly capable and motivated individual that will focus on nuclear plant design engineering process development, oversight and maintenance. The successful candidate will integrate and coordinate engineering processes and procedures with a broad team in multiple functional areas and work as part of a high-performing team of engineers and technologists.ResponsibilitiesHelp to establish common processes and standards for conduct of engineering activities.Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training material related to design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes. Identify, raise, and resolve inconsistencies and deficiencies in existing processes and procedures, including initiation and resolution of condition reports. Coordination with central support organizations for interface with corporate supporting functions and processesSupport planning efforts and maintain schedule adherence for design activities May include applying project and program management and coordination tools and techniques to daily work and regular meetings and engagements such as:Help develop, execute strategy of design programs including developing program plans and program review meetings Support scheduled program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program and support priorities for managing the programsKey Qualifications And SkillsB.S. degree or higher in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university and 10+ years direct experience in an Engineering work environment.Knowledge of quality program design and configuration management principles, practices, and tools.Experience in a broad range of topics throughout a product lifecycle, including conceptual design, final design, construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.Experience in coordinating and maintaining technical processes and procedures within a nuclear QAP is required.Experience with ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B control programs required.Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.Experience in writing and maintaining technical project procedures and training.Attention to detail and aspiration for technical excellence.Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to perform both individually and as a team contributor.
