Part time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.Your Impact Matters: Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient careResponsibilitiesFills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacistPrepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacistPrints out and fills label requests for First does and Stat medications. All labels and medications are inspected by a pharmacist prior to being delivered.Fills Floor Stock and Controlled Substances requests under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.Re-packages bulk forms of medications into unit dose packaging. Completes accompanying records which are then co-signed by the inspecting pharmacist.Orders, unpacks and stores supplies. Ensures all items are verified against invoice before being stored.Compiles outdated medications through monthly inspection of Pharmacy, and returns to appropriate vendor.Performs Quality Improvement activities as directed.Performs other duties as requested.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an approved School of Pharmacy program at an accredited collegeCurrent State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Intern requiredPreferred QualificationsOne to two year's experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferredAdditional DataEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disabled/Veterans
