Software Developer

Overview As a Software Engineer at CyberCore, you will design, develop and refine software to meet performance and functionality targets. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions, debug issues, and integrate software into established environments. You’ll also optimize data queries, contribute to documentation and standards, and mentor teammates as a lead on projects. This role blends hands-on coding with system analysis to deliver scalable software in a collaborative setting. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user requirements to derive design and performance requirementsDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add featuresDebug and fix defects; integrate software into new or modified systemsDevelop simple data queries for databases or data repositoriesRecommend improvements to documentation and software development standardsDevelop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standardsAssist with test procedures and review software/system documentationDevelop software solutions by analyzing performance, data usage and workflowsServe as team lead appropriate to the project’s software development processModify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performanceDesign, develop and modify software systems using analytical and mathematical approachesDesign or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries Key requirementsSeven (7) years’ experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityStrong experience in the Java programming language (3+ years)Experience using JSON and XML serializationBackground in UI development using JavascriptFamiliarity with basic design patterns (Singleton, MVC, Builder, etc)Familiarity with web applications technologiesFamiliarity with Spring Boot a plusteam leadershipcommunicationproblem-solvingJavaJavaScript UIJSON serialization
