Who are we looking for? The Quality Control (QC) Chemist is responsible for performing analytical testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and customer requirements. This role supports a range of chemical and materials-based products, requiring flexibility across diverse testing methods and the ability to operate in a fast-paced laboratory environment. What will you be doing?Perform a comprehensive range of laboratory tests, including dimensional and physical inspections; thermal, environmental, and electrical testing; chemical compositional, impurity, ionic, solution-based, and spectroscopic analyses; and evaluation of optical, surface, viscosity, and flow properties to verify material performance and compliance.Execute test methods in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and customer-specific requirementsAccurately record, calculate, and report results in laboratory systemsEnsure all data is complete, accurate, and compliant with quality standardsDocument results in LIMS, logbooks, and electronic systems in real timeIdentify and escalate out-of-specification (OOS) or abnormal resultsSupport investigations, retesting, and root cause analysis as neededSupport daily lab workflow to meet turnaround time (TAT) expectationsPrepare samples, reagents, and standards for testingFollow standardized workflows to ensure consistency and repeatabilityOperate laboratory equipment in accordance with established proceduresPerform routine checks, calibrations, and verificationsIdentify equipment issues and escalate for maintenance or repairSupport coordination of internal or external calibration activities Who are You?Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferredRelevant laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of degree1-3 years of laboratory or QC experience preferredExperience with chemical, physical, and materials testing methodsExperience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment (ISO, IATF, GMP) is a plusFamiliarity with analytical testing methods and laboratory best practicesBasic understanding of calibration, measurement systems, and data analysisExperience with LIMS or data systems preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic calculations We are Offering...
