(No Night Shift)Job Description/ Responsibilities L1 DC Technicians JD: ( 2-3 Years)Data Center OperationsPerform rack & stack of servers, network devices, and storage equipmentHandle cabling (fiber & copper) including labeling and cable managementSupport installation, relocation, and decommissioning of hardwareHardware & Inventory ManagementReceive and verify hardware shipments against purchase orders / delivery notesPerform physical inspection of equipment for damages upon arrivalMaintain accurate inventory records (asset tagging, tracking, updates)Manage spares inventory and ensure availability of critical componentsCoordinate hardware returns (RMA), dispatch, and logistics trackingEnsure proper storage, labeling, and documentation of all assetsIncident & Request HandlingProvide L1 support for incidents and service requests via ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)Perform basic troubleshooting (L1 triage) for:Server hardware issuesNetwork connectivity (Layer 1 checks)Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams with proper logs and updatesRemote Hands SupportAct as hands & eyes support for remote engineersExecute tasks such as:Cable reseatingPower cycling devicesConsole access setupBasic hardware replacement (as guided)Monitoring & ReportingMonitor alerts from DC tools / dashboardsUpdate tickets with accurate troubleshooting steps and statusMaintain documentation, asset inventory, and audit recordsCompliance & SafetyFollow data center security and access protocolsAdhere to ESD, safety, and PPE standardsEnsure readiness for audits and compliance checksRequired SkillsTechnical SkillsBasic understanding of:Networking fundamentals (IP, switching, patching)Server hardware componentsFiber & Ethernet cablingFamiliarity with:Ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar)Basic console tools (SSH, Putty)Soft SkillsStrong coordination and communication skillsAbility to manage physical inventory and logistics tasksComfortable working in a rotational shift environment.Attention to detail and documentation accuracyDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
