These roles are in office in Greenville SCPay rate is $71/hour with a standard benefits package for Process EngineerPay rate is $95/hour with a standard benefits package for Sr Process Engineer (10+ years exp)Reimbursable GSA per diem available to those that qualify!Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to provide essential technical knowledge and perform engineering work as described below. This position serves as a staff engineer performing engineering assignment of intermediate complexity.Under direct supervision of the Discipline Lead Engineer or Area Lead Engineer, analyze and make independent recommendations regarding technical solutions to problems of intermediate complexity in accordance with project requirementsDevelop and review specifications and design criteriaPerform and check engineering analyses and calculations; specify materials, equipment and systems; and solve technical problems of intermediate complexityCoordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors and clientsExecute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and proceduresExecute work in accordance with the approved project scope, cost and schedule baselinesEstablish, control and report on material key quantities; provide analysis and forecastsProvide technical support to activities associated with equipment and material procurement and subcontracting including scopes of work, technical bid evaluations and review of vendor submittalsProvide technical support to activities associated with construction administration including response to construction requests-for-information and field changesOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsBasic Job RequirementsU.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Nuclear Engineering and minimum five (5) years of work-related experienceWorking knowledge of applicable federal (including Department of Energy orders), state, and local codes and standardsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to project management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and subcontractorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobIntermediate knowledge of discipline codes and standardsAbility to perform work in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal codes, statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerIntermediate computer and software skills to include proficiency in the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programsExperience providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services on commercial or industrial projectsProficiency executing EPC projects utilizing engineering analysis, 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) automation tools in a multi-discipline environmentDiscipline Specific Job RequirementsPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) developmentParticipate in HazOp/PHAs for assigned systemsDemonstrated design experience in areas such as utility and/or process systems andspecificationPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer licenseExperience with design of systems, structures and components for nuclear facilities under therequirements of ASME NQA-1Practical field experienceEPC project experience for the following industries:U.S Department of Energy or other U.S. Federal Government AgencyNuclear facilities under a nuclear quality assurance programManufacturing, pharmaceutical or biotechnologyProficiency in reading and working with P&IDsIntermediate knowledge of:Development of process flow diagrams (PFDs)Development of P&IDsHazOp Methodology
