Placement Type:TemporarySalary:$42-46.67 Hourlyup to $46.67/hrStart Date:May 18, 2026Product Validation Analyst - Athlete Systems (Hardware + Software Testing)About the RoleWe are seeking a Product Validation Analyst to support the development and testing of next-generation athlete-focused systems that combine hardware, software, and human performance. This role is highly hands-on and focused on executing real-world testing with participants to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.You will work closely with athletes, engineers, researchers, and product teams to run structured and exploratory testing sessions, capture system behavior, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights that drive product improvement.This is a detail-oriented, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with physical systems, observing how they behave in real-world conditions, and contributing to iterative product development in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoPlan, coordinate, and execute hands-on testing sessions with athletes and participantsRun structured and unstructured validation testing of experimental hardware-software systemsCollect, organize, and analyze qualitative feedback and system performance dataIdentify, document, and reproduce system issues, anomalies, and unexpected behaviorsPerform regression testing across product updates and iterative releasesSupport issue triage and collaborate with engineering teams to isolate root causesAggregate and analyze sensor, usage, and performance data using analytical toolsTranslate athlete feedback into structured insights for engineering and product teamsMaintain detailed test documentation to ensure clarity, repeatability, and alignmentSupport ongoing experimentation, iterative testing cycles, and release readiness What You Bring2+ years of experience in product testing, validation, QA, or test engineeringExperience working with physical products, hardware-software systems, or electromechanical devicesBackground in human testing, field testing, or real-world validation environmentsStrong ability to observe, document, and analyze system behavior and performance issuesExperience working with structured test protocols and regression testingComfort working directly with participants or athletes in testing environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical teamsDetail-oriented mindset with comfort in repetitive, high-precision testing work Technical SkillsExperience using Python, MATLAB, or Excel for data analysisFamiliarity with sensor data, motion capture, or performance tracking systemsAbility to work with data from hardware-integrated systems (wearables, robotics, or similar) Nice to HaveBackground in biomechanics, human movement, or applied sports scienceExperience with embedded systems, robotics, or mechatronicsExposure to athlete testing, sports performance labs, or research environmentsExperience working in R&D, innovation labs, or early-stage product developmentFamiliarity with AI tools for data analysis or workflow acceleration Work EnvironmentOnsite, lab-based, and field testing environmentHigh-frequency testing cycles with evolving prototypesCollaborative, cross-functional team working at the intersection of sport, technology, and innovationRepetitive, detail-heavy work requiring consistency, rigor, and curiosity #LI-AJ1 Client Description Global leader in athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment.
