We’re seeking a dedicated Surveyor to join our collaborative team and contribute to a wide range of infrastructure projects. Based in your hometown in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and Field Surveyors across the region and around the globe to support major infrastructure programs.
In this role, you will primarily work from the office or a home office in a hybrid capacity, providing oversight and technical direction to field crews performing control, boundary, topographic, and laser scanning surveys. Fieldwork and travel are occasional and typically limited to key project milestones, critical field phases, or quality oversight activities. A significant portion of the role involves post‑processing survey data using multiple software platforms and producing high‑quality deliverables that meet project scope, standards, and specifications using CADD.
Working in partnership with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the technical execution of projects, applying your professional judgment and expertise to support successful project delivery.
Specific Tasks Include
Field crew setup
Geodetic control network planning, processing, and adjustment
Feature code processing of topographic field data in CAD
Generating, editing and clean‑up of Digital Terrain Models (DTM)
Public records research
COGO calculations
Determination of Land and Right of Way boundaries
Drafting of Land Survey Plats, ALTA Surveys, and Topographic Maps
Writing property descriptions
Obtaining permits
Obtaining Right of Entry
Developing and implementing quality control plans appropriate for tasks and deliverables
Working with PM to establish estimate of hours to complete each task
Collaborating with a multi‑discipline team
Adhering to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Working outdoors in variable weather conditions and varied terrain
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in applicable field
5+ years’ experience in Land Surveying
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation ORD, or Trimble TBC
Experience with DOT standards and specifications (preferred but not required)
CST, LSI or PLS certification (preferred but not required)
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Good social and communication skills
Ability to pass a drug screen

The base salary range for this position is $80,900.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
