This role partners directly with customers to diagnose equipment concerns, complete complex installations, and deliver responsive technical support while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ES Install Tech applies advanced troubleshooting skills and technical expertise to support operational reliability and customer satisfaction. Rooted in Our Values, this role demonstrates accountability, continuous improvement, and a commitment to building strong customer relationships.Independently install and commission vehicle lifts, fluid dispensing systems, pumps, tanks, reels, and related equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues with minimal supervisionPerform preventative maintenance inspections and identify equipment improvement opportunitiesTravel to customer locations to respond to service calls, perform repairs, and support installation projectsRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and installation specificationsManage service calls efficiently while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teamsAccurately document repairs, inventory usage, service reports, and project updatesMaintain company service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment readinessSupport troubleshooting efforts involving equipment performance, operational failures, and customer concernsTrain and mentor less experienced technicians on technical procedures, safety expectations, and customer service standardsCoordinate with leadership and operations teams to prioritize customer needs and project timelinesEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental procedures, and company standardsParticipate in ongoing technical training and supplier certification programsTravel overnight greater than 20% to support regional customer and installation needsPerform additional duties and special projects as assignedEducation: High School Diploma or GED Experience and/or Training: 3–5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, equipment installation, or related technical fieldLicense/ Certification: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skillsAbility to independently complete complex service and installation workAbility to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprintsStrong problem-solving and customer relationship skillsAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple service assignmentsAbility to travel overnight greater than 20% as business needs requireProficiency with mobile technology and service documentation systemsTechnical degree or trade certificationExperience with vehicle lifts, lubrication systems, or industrial fluid handling systemsExperience with welding, fabrication, or industrial electrical systemsSupplier or manufacturer equipment certificationsExperience mentoring or training teammates in field service environmentsPhysical, Mental, Environmental Demands:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds occasionallyFrequent standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and working at elevated heightsExposure to changing weather conditions, industrial environments, and customer job sitesExtended driving and overnight travel requirementsAbility to safely operate company vehicles, ladders, lifts, and power equipmentThe anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $25 and $32 hourly.
