Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a FS 80 Java Spring Rest Soap API 20 UI Angular.Responsibilities: Champion the effort to create and maintain high quality service documentationWrite concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirementsCoordinate multiple development work streams through integration and ensure architecture is scalable and extensibleDefine, maintain and support development environment while adopting industry best practices and toolsEnsures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectivelyHelp coordinate the delivery of technical components across internal/external technical teamsWork closely with business partners and management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future developmentProvide technical leadership to more junior team members of the teamSkillsBachelor's degree or higher5-8 years of hands on software development and Oracle experience6+ years of Java EE development experienceInvestment/financial services experience is highly desired preferably within the equity compensation spaceA solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment conceptsAbility to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment while meeting deliverablesCuriosity to stay abreast with new and emerging technologies and concepts and to find ways to apply those to business problemsExperience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM, Extreme Programming, TDD, etc.Strong verbal and written communications, must be able to actively engage other team membersExpert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using OracleExpert-level hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)Experience with performance tuning queries and stored procedures to handle large volumes of dataWorking experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering PracticeFamiliarity with infrastructure technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, MSSQL, DataDog)Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB)Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, UDeploy), containerization (Docker), and version control (GIT, GitHub, gitflow)Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred) Technical understanding/experience with: Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSONApplication development using Java EE, Spring frameworkRelational databases like DB2 or Oracle as well as no-SQL databasesEvent driver transaction processing using EAI, ESB and messaging patterns using technologies such as WSO2, ActiveMQ, Tomcat, etc.Security integration using oAuth and LDAP The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
