SUMMARYBLUvera, Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate, seeks an experienced Project Manager I - Electrical to lead projects with flexibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism. Responsibilities include anticipating and solving problems, managing project quality, timeliness, safety, and mentoring the project team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing exceptional service.RESPONSIBILITIESManage overall financial health of projectsDevelop and maintain project financial and equipment projectionsAllocate project estimate into financial system and determine cost codesApprove invoices and manage budget decisionsProvide financials and billings to Accounting for timely paymentCreate monthly owner billingsAssist in development of new electrical product linesManage subcontracts and suppliers, including contract buyoutsOversee self-perform budgetsOversee budget and select trade partners and suppliersManage Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including job assignments and career developmentProvide support to project teams during product planning, implementation, and installation.Manage customer needs schedules and align them with production capacity and timelines.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent fieldMinimum eight years of electrical construction management and/or electrical design experienceMinimum one year of experience with project completion from mobilization to turnoverProficiency in medium and high voltage technical knowledgeSpecialized knowledge/experience in electrical control, substations, t-line, etc.Current driver's licenseKnowledge of NEC code and NE safety codeStrong teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsDetail-oriented to manage multiple project tasksBasic understanding of construction law and business practicesIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Project, and web applicationsPositive, professional attitude with strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesActive listening skills and effective communicationAbility to travel up to 50%Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plansA few benefits offered include:(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $113,500 - $170,300. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
